Federal law requires that firearms ship to a licensed FFL dealer rather than to your home. If you are buying a rifle from us and you are not local to Naples, that means choosing a dealer near you to receive it. The process is straightforward, and we handle our side of it for you.
How it works
- Place your order. Check out as normal on our store.
- We email you a secure link. Right after checkout you will receive an email with a link to the form below and your order number.
- Submit your dealer’s details. Tell us who your receiving FFL is and where they are. If you are not sure who to use, most local gun shops and many pawn shops will accept transfers for a small fee.
- We verify the licence. We contact your dealer and confirm their FFL directly with them.
- We ship. Once your FFL is approved, your rifle ships to your dealer and you collect it from them after completing your background check at their counter.
What you will need
- Your Alpha Group Armory order number, from your confirmation email
- Your receiving dealer’s business name and address
- Their FFL number, if you have it. If not, we can contact them directly.
Good to know
- We ship after your FFL is approved, not at the moment you order. Approval depends partly on how quickly your dealer responds to us.
- Your receiving dealer will charge their own transfer fee. That fee is theirs, not ours, and is paid to them when you collect.
- You complete your background check with your receiving dealer, not with us.
- If anything is unclear, get in touch before ordering and we will walk you through it.
